A Blooming Beautiful Wedding at Halton Grove

Updated: Jul 6

Amy and James' wedding at Halton Grove in Northumberland was a celebration of love and beautiful blooms. The couple opted for a soft and romantic color palette of peaches, pinks, lilacs, and pale blue, perfectly complementing the venue's natural beauty as well as the summer season.

The ceremony featured a stunning floral arch, creating a fairytale ambiance as Amy walked down the aisle. Floral meadows lined the aisle, and the registrar's table was adorned with colourful floral arrangements. It was like the garden was brought indoors!

Amy & James booked my turnaround service, so as the ceremony concluded, the floral arrangements were carefully relocated and repurposed in the reception room, ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the cohesive ambiance throughout the wedding. Booking me to do the turnaround, gave the couple extra confidence and peace of mind, that everything would look great once transferred.

Flowers played a particularly poignant role in the wedding, owing to Amy's deep-rooted connection to them. Having grown up surrounded by the beauty of her grandmother's garden, blooms held a special significance for her. I incorporated sentimental varieties like delphinium, daisy, dahlia, garden roses, campanula, and peony into the arrangements. Each blossom wasn't just a beautiful addition, but a silent tribute to cherished memories and the enduring love that inspired Amy's love for flowers.
