Newcastle's city centre played host to a recent photoshoot showcasing stunning floral arrangements and the timeless elegance of the County Hotel. Stepping inside this historical venue, bathed in the soft glow of natural light filtering through its grand windows, we were immediately struck by its beauty. The rich architecture provided the perfect backdrop for a romantic and luxurious wedding scene.

Our vision was to create a ceremony bathed in shades of purple. We opted for a completely foam-free floral installation, a sustainable choice that didn't compromise on visual impact. A breathtaking arch, adorned with a cascade of lavender, lilac, light blue and pink blooms, became the focal point for the ceremony space. The aisle was lined with a whimsical display of candles and floral arrangements, adding a touch of magic and romance to the space.

The colour palette was carefully chosen to complement the existing tones of the venue's carpet, ensuring a cohesive and visually stunning effect. This thoughtful touch showcased how beautifully floral arrangements can be integrated with existing décor.

Taking advantage of the County Hotel's versatile spaces, we then moved some of the floral displays to the Mozart Room. This unique space allowed us to capture stunning photographs of a reception table setting. Imagine a long dining table, adorned with a cascading runner in shades of lilac and lavender. Chair sashes echoed the colour scheme, adding to the sense of occasion. Candles flickered, casting a warm glow on vases overflowing with gorgeous blooms. To complete the picture, beautiful stationery from Endless Celebrations lay artfully arranged on the table, adding a touch of elegance and personalization.

The County Hotel truly shines as a wedding venue. Its central location overlooking Newcastle Central Station makes it ideal for guests traveling from afar. The stunning historical architecture provides a magnificent backdrop for any wedding celebration. By utilizing sustainable practices and leveraging the venue's existing features, we were able to create a luxurious and romantic atmosphere that captured the essence of a fairytale wedding.
